Saakashvili reviews Georgia-Russia relations in radio interview

Georgian president spoke about Russia-Georgia relations in the interview with Radio Echo Moskvy. When questioned about if Georgian authorities were prepared to resume negotiations with Russia, Saakashvili answered that he was prepared to hold dialogue with any leadership in difference from the Russian leaders, who refused to talk with the democratically elected government of the independent country.
He said such approach of the Russia leaders only proved that the democratic culture was very low or was absent in the Kremlin.
Saakashvili emphasized that despite the cut of diplomatic ties, relations in humanitarian aspect between the two countries continued.
As for the resumption of normal relations with Russia, Saakashvili said that it was quite possible only when Russia recognized the sovereignty of Georgia and give up the efforts to erase this country from the political map of the world.
